Founded in 1979, Precise GmbH entered the Indian market through the visionary efforts of Mr. Latkar. Precise High Speed Spindles Service Centre Pvt Ltd brought High Frequency Spindle from Precise GmbH, Germany. Recognizing its potential, Mr. Latkar collaborated with Mr. Horst Lamers and Mr. Günter Berg of Precise Germany to introduce this innovative technology to India. This partnership led to the establishment of Precise GmbH's presence in the country, laying the foundation for a long-standing commitment to excellence in high-frequency spindles.
Our Applications and Innovations
Precise Spindle systems have become integral to a wide array of industries, including mold and die making (serving bottle mold and shoe manufacturers), precision milling and engraving, production machining, PCB routing and drilling, internal grinding Our technology also supports surgical instrument manufacturing and various aerospace applications. Over the years, we have incorporated features such as oil-air lubrication, ceramic bearings, and air-bearing spindle designs, catering to specialized applications and enhancing performance.

By the 1990s, Precise GmbH saw a significant increase in customer inquiries and service requests from India. To streamline support and service, Mr. Günter Berg proposed setting up a dedicated service station in India. In 1996, we launched our first Service Station in Dombivli, Thane District. This marked a critical step in enhancing customer support and ensuring timely service. Recognizing the growing demand, we shifted our service station to Kolhapur in 2004. This modern facility, inaugurated by our former President Mr. Dave Easley, includes a dedicated repair room, a testing room, and a conference area. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, this facility supports the assembly, disassembly, and testing of high-frequency spindles, maintaining the highest standards of quality and precision.
Our growth has been driven by a team of dedicated professionals. Deepa Deshpande, our Chief Technician, received specialized training at the Leichlingen plant in Germany, bringing valuable expertise to our operations. Manish Deshpande, who joined us in 1999 as Executive - Sales & Marketing, has played a pivotal role in expanding our market reach through strategic initiatives, customer engagement, and advertising in key technical publications.
In 2006, Precise GmbH merged with FISCHER AG of Switzerland, forming the FISCHER Precise Group, a leading name in precision spindle technology. This merger brought together a diverse range of spindle solutions, from 0.21 kW to 100 kW power, and speeds of up to 200,000 RPM. The acquisition of "FORTUNA," a renowned grinding machine manufacturer, further expanded our capabilities, allowing us to offer a comprehensive range of spindle solutions under the FISCHER Precise umbrella.
